EWAR Drums to EDM

Nicholas Barlett new Artist enters the EDM poll with uplifting electro sounds as EWAR.Ewar on drums
At the age of 12, he began learning to play the drums, and at 14 he began producing. In Highschool, he was highly decorated with performance awards for his involvement in the Contemporary Jazz Band, directed by Rob Graves, head of the ABA. After highschool, he went to Pixel Blue College to get a Digital Audio Production diploma, learning from Canadian rap mixing engineer Umesh Sahajpal, famous for his work with Nappy Roots, and Pill. It was during this time that Nicholas’s style shifted drastically, moving from downtempo and jazz infused productions to heavy bass, and melodic movement. After College, Nicholas worked as a traveling contract Video DJ for Much Music (A Canadian Music TV Channel) playing High School dances and College parties across the country. It was here that he honed his live performance skills, and learned to read and control a crowd.

With a smash entry ‘Here it Goes ‘Ewar extracts the Canadian spirit in his latest tunes to all around the world.
After signing with Universal Grooves, Ewar is expected to lighten the EDM world with exclusive summer and winter bangers where he will be introducing new melodies to the world.

We are looking forward to interview the new upcoming Star and his entertaining qualities.
